The Fortune Theatre
This was the first theatre built in London after the First World War and it was styled in Art Deco which was fashionable at the times.
The most curious thing about this theatre is the joint freehold with the adjacent Scottish church.
Being near neighbours to the church it is ironic that the first play performed here was called "Sinners". There are corridors belonging to the church which runs along the aisle of the auditorium. The Woman in Black is the theatre's longest-running show and has been playing at this theatre since 1989.
