London Oddities # 15: Jazz up your convenience

Cellar Door

Once a popular place for gentlemen to relieve themselves on the way to the theatre, this former public convenience has nowadays transformed itself into the "Cellar Door"; an upmarket live jazz club with the odd door number 'Zero' Aldwych, as its address. Inside this small, cosy, subterranean bar are winged angels, ready to serve you your drinks. Where afterwards, when you are ready, there is also a small toilet to accommodate your needs.
