APPLE AND CUCUMBER SALAD

Core some sour apples and cut them in thin slices. Peel 1 cucumber, cut in slices, and drain for a little while on a plate sprinkle with salt. Then put both apple and cucumber in a salad bowl, season with salt and paprika, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Pour on top of all a quantity of stiffly whipped cream. Sprinkle a little more paprika on the surface and serve iced.
